The philosophy behind training with LKH Equestrian comes down to using common sense of being able to read your horse. I believe in achieving goals by understanding the balance between the horse and the rider's abilities and adjusting to change as necessary, yet offering enough challenges to make progress. Patience is virtue, and hence I happily offer retraining programs for more challenging horses or horses with new career path, such as OTTBs or rescue horses. We aim to campaign our horses and riders in shows around Southern California regularly, usually showing Feb-Nov on monthly basis.

The balance between exercise, nutrition, barn conditions, shoeing/trimming, proper veterinary care and rest are also key elements in the training process. I believe in working hard for fabulous results, therefore I also expect my riders to treat themselves with same respect.

LKH Equestrian operates as a small program, and therefore can provide very detailed training to clients.

Our emphasis is to set goals, whether it is the calm trail ride the rider wants to achieve with a nervous horse for example, or the A-level show, which we also aim for. Typically a horse in full training will receive a minimum of 2 training rides per week, ideally minimum of 2 lessons by client (unless client opts for trainer rides only) and at least one day of "breathing time" eg a calm trail ride. Training is tailored to the client's (horse and/or rider) needs, to me every horse and rider are individuals. Generally lessons are private/semi private lessons. Group lessons usually offered during school year evenings. Our arena is lit for after sunset riding.

We offer full training, limited availability. Stall sizes 12 x 24. Training fee does not include board or grooming (to be determined separately). All training fees due by the 3rd of the month. A 30 day notice required for full training clients. Prices per month as below:
